The Science Granting Councils Initiative (SGCI) is a multilateral effort that is strengthening the capacity of science funding agencies in sub-Saharan Africa to support research and evidence to inform policies that contribute to economic and social development. The SGCI funds various projects, including collaborative ones, across the continent to strengthen research systems, build capacity, and inform policy.
