Dirig\u00e9e par la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrf.ac.za\/\">National Research Foundation (NRF)<\/a> d&rsquo;Afrique du Sud et soutenue par la Science Granting Councils Initiative (SGCI), cette initiative a montr\u00e9 qu&rsquo;une collaboration \u00e9troite peut apporter des r\u00e9ponses efficaces aux urgences sanitaires mondiales. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-supporting-science-fast\"><strong>Soutenir la science, rapidement<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Lanc\u00e9 en juillet 2020, le CARGF a financ\u00e9 73 projets dans 16 pays africains. Ces projets se sont concentr\u00e9s sur trois domaines cl\u00e9s : <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Recherche scientifique sur le COVID-19 et son impact<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Le journalisme scientifique pour lutter contre la d\u00e9sinformation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conseils scientifiques pour les r\u00e9ponses politiques<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Les projets ont impliqu\u00e9 plus de 700 chercheurs, journalistes et agents de sant\u00e9 communautaires. Ils ont g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 : <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>61 articles de journaux<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>17 chapitres de livres et 1 livre<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>29 th\u00e8ses de troisi\u00e8me cycle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Des centaines d&rsquo;articles de presse, d&rsquo;ateliers et d&rsquo;\u00e9v\u00e9nements de sensibilisation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Tous les r\u00e9sultats sont disponibles en libre acc\u00e8s sur <a href=\"https:\/\/africarxiv.ubuntunet.net\/home\">AfricArXiv<\/a>, ce qui favorise la visibilit\u00e9 et l&rsquo;acc\u00e8s dans toute l&rsquo;Afrique.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-building-capacity-and-community\"><strong>Renforcer les capacit\u00e9s et la communaut\u00e9<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Le CARGF ne s&rsquo;est pas content\u00e9 de financer des projets, il a form\u00e9 des personnes. Plus de 2 700 personnes, dont des chercheurs en d\u00e9but de carri\u00e8re, des responsables communautaires et des journalistes, ont re\u00e7u une formation. L&rsquo;initiative a \u00e9galement permis d&rsquo;\u00e9tablir des partenariats avec :  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minist\u00e8res et organismes publics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Institutions de recherche<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ONG et m\u00e9dias<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Ce r\u00e9seau a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 renforcer la communication scientifique et l&rsquo;engagement politique pendant la pand\u00e9mie.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-key-outcomes\"><strong>Principaux r\u00e9sultats<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Am\u00e9lioration de la sensibilisation du public et de l&rsquo;acceptation des vaccins<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Des solutions num\u00e9riques pour les soins de sant\u00e9 \u00e0 distance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cr\u00e9ation de nouveaux outils de diagnostic et de recommandations politiques<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Une collaboration \u00e0 long terme entre les institutions a \u00e9t\u00e9 mise en place<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>De nombreux projets se sont poursuivis au-del\u00e0 de la p\u00e9riode de financement en obtenant un soutien suppl\u00e9mentaire.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-lessons-and-recommendations\"><strong>Le\u00e7ons et recommandations<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Le rapport recommande que les SGC :<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>D\u00e9velopper des syst\u00e8mes de r\u00e9ponse rapide pour les urgences futures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rationaliser les proc\u00e9dures d&rsquo;octroi de subventions et investir dans des outils num\u00e9riques<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encourager la collaboration et les propositions conjointes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consacrer des fonds au renforcement des capacit\u00e9s de recherche<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Pour les chercheurs, l&rsquo;essentiel est de s&rsquo;appuyer sur des partenariats, de partager ouvertement les r\u00e9sultats et de continuer \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper leurs travaux.<\/p>\n\n<p>Le CARGF est un mod\u00e8le de coop\u00e9ration multi-pays sous l&rsquo;\u00e9gide de l&rsquo;Afrique, qui permet de r\u00e9pondre rapidement \u00e0 une crise, tout en jetant des bases plus solides pour la science future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Le COVID-19 Africa Rapid Grant Fund (CARGF) a apport\u00e9 un soutien opportun \u00e0 la recherche et \u00e0 la communication scientifique en Afrique subsaharienne pendant la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19.
