Elle souligne comment l\u2019Afrique peut exploiter les technologies num\u00e9riques et la science ouverte pour stimuler le d\u00e9veloppement durable sur tout le continent.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-this-matters\"><strong>Pourquoi cela est important<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Au cours des derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies, les technologies num\u00e9riques, telles que les m\u00e9gadonn\u00e9es, l\u2019intelligence artificielle et le calcul de haute performance, ont r\u00e9volutionn\u00e9 notre fa\u00e7on de vivre, de travailler et de r\u00e9soudre les probl\u00e8mes. Ces outils fa\u00e7onnent non seulement une nouvelle \u00e8re industrielle \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle mondiale, mais ouvrent \u00e9galement des perspectives \u00e0 l\u2019Afrique pour franchir les obstacles traditionnels au d\u00e9veloppement. <\/p>\n\n<p>Toutefois, pour en tirer pleinement parti, l\u2019Afrique doit mettre en place des syst\u00e8mes scientifiques solides. Ces syst\u00e8mes doivent g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des connaissances pertinentes, doter les populations de comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques et favoriser une innovation qui soutient directement les objectifs \u00e9conomiques et soci\u00e9taux. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-needs-to-be-done-to-enhance-digital-innovation\"><strong>Ce qu\u2019il faut faire pour renforcer l\u2019innovation num\u00e9rique<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Le rapport indique clairement que l\u2019Afrique ne doit pas faire cavalier seul. Au contraire, la collaboration est essentielle. Il recommande la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019une plateforme africaine de science ouverte \u2014 une initiative ambitieuse mais pratique qui permettrait de :  <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Partager les infrastructures et les donn\u00e9es entre les pays<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Faciliter la collaboration en mati\u00e8re de recherche transfrontali\u00e8re<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promouvoir la publication en libre acc\u00e8s<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Soutenir la formation et l\u2019\u00e9ducation au num\u00e9rique<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exploiter l\u2019IA et l\u2019apprentissage automatique pour des solutions locales<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Cette approche permettrait non seulement de r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts, mais aussi de renforcer l\u2019impact et la visibilit\u00e9 de la science africaine \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle mondiale.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-role-of-science-granting-councils\"><strong>R\u00f4le des organismes de financement de la recherche scientifique<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Les organismes de financement de la recherche scientifique sont bien plac\u00e9s pour mener cette action. Situ\u00e9s entre les gouvernements et les communaut\u00e9s de recherche, ils peuvent : <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Aligner les strat\u00e9gies num\u00e9riques nationales et r\u00e9gionales<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Soutenir des programmes de recherche conjoints<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordonner les financements et les politiques<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attract global partners such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.idrc.ca\/en\">CRDI<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sida.se\/\">Sida<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/organisations\/department-for-international-development\">DFID<\/a> et d\u2019autres<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-a-call-to-act\"><strong>Un appel \u00e0 l\u2019action<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Avec le lancement de la Zone de libre-\u00e9change continentale africaine (ZLECAf), il s\u2019agit d\u2019une occasion historique.
