Tambo Africa Research Chairs Initiative (ORTARChI).<\/p>\n\n<p>En collaboration avec la National Research Foundation (Afrique du Sud), les deux agences se sont engag\u00e9es dans l&rsquo;apprentissage par les pairs et ont soutenu la conceptualisation de cette nouvelle initiative. En mars 2023, cette collaboration a abouti \u00e0 une session au cours de laquelle les coll\u00e8gues de la NRF, le Dr Nana Boaduo et le Dr Dorothy Ngila, ont soutenu la validation du document-cadre.<\/p>\n\n<p>COSTECH et la NRF ont une longue histoire d&rsquo;engagement, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tablie en 2011 lors de la signature d&rsquo;un accord de collaboration en science et technologie entre les gouvernements d&rsquo;Afrique du Sud et de Tanzanie. Depuis lors, les deux agences ont mis en \u0153uvre un appel \u00e0 recherche conjoint ax\u00e9 sur la sant\u00e9, les TIC, la pal\u00e9ontologie, l&rsquo;industrie manufacturi\u00e8re et la valeur ajout\u00e9e agricole. Ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, cette collaboration s&rsquo;est intensifi\u00e9e sous les auspices de l&rsquo;initiative des conseils scientifiques en Afrique subsaharienne (SGCI).<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sgciafrica.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/ycy.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sgciafrica.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/ycy.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5421\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n<p>Parmi plusieurs initiatives, COSTECH est le partenaire de mise en \u0153uvre d&rsquo;ORTARChI en Tanzanie, o\u00f9 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 agricole de Sokoine (SUA) et l&rsquo;Institution africaine Nelson Mandela pour la science et la technologie (NMAIST) se sont vu attribuer des chaires de recherche africaines O.R. Tambo.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>L&rsquo;initiative des chaires de recherche africaines O.R. Tambo (ORTARChI) combine des objectifs politiques, de d\u00e9veloppement et d&rsquo;enseignement sup\u00e9rieur. Il vise \u00e0 honorer une personnalit\u00e9 de premier plan dans le d\u00e9veloppement de l&rsquo;unit\u00e9 africaine, \u00e0 avoir un impact catalytique sur le d\u00e9veloppement des infrastructures de recherche dans les pays b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires et \u00e0 contribuer \u00e0 la production de connaissances et de comp\u00e9tences de haut niveau conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 l&rsquo;Agenda 2063 de l&rsquo;UA et \u00e0 la STISA 2024. Neuf (9) chaires de recherche africaines O.R. Tambo ont \u00e9t\u00e9 attribu\u00e9es dans six pays, \u00e0 savoir le Botswana, le Burkina Faso, le Ghana, le Mozambique, la Tanzanie et la Zambie. Le NRF et le minist\u00e8re sud-africain de la science et de l&rsquo;innovation (DSI), ainsi que leurs principaux partenaires, la Fondation Oliver et Adelaide Tambo et le Centre de recherches pour le d\u00e9veloppement international (CRDI) du Canada, se sont associ\u00e9s aux agences s\u0153urs du NRF dans les six pays et aux universit\u00e9s pour mettre en \u0153uvre l&rsquo;initiative.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La Commission tanzanienne de la science et de la technologie (COSTECH) s&rsquo;est lanc\u00e9e dans la mise en place d&rsquo;un programme national de chaires de recherche, inspir\u00e9 de l&rsquo;initiative O.R.
